Thanks for all of the kind words guys. I've been reading up on all of your installs and mods for quite some time and value all of the suggestions and opinions. I'm trying to make it a point to take plenty of pics and post a mini write up on everything I do to help out, since I've gotten ideas or tips from many of you in the past without you knowing it. If it wasn't for forums like this one I wouldn't have been able to do any of the stuff I did to my car. My ***** grow with every mod lol.

I must ask though...I plan on doing a GT500 conversion early next year and I have two burning questions right now.

#1 - How hard is it to swap bumpers? Doesn't seem to be much other than jacking up the car and taking out a few bolts.

#2 - Color combos...I plan to stay with the white and black theme...but given my recent spoiler addition I doubt if I'm going to stripe it so......which should I do to the Venom hood? Solid white with Black Louvers...or Solid White with Black Louvers...I don't know if a white hood with black louvers would balance it out enough or not. The bottom trim will be black...chin, black GT side skirts & a rear gt500 bumper with black trim all of the way around. I plan to add black "hockey" type stripes when I'm done. Thanks again for looking!

Great job, looks great. I was in your vote last year, not that hard at all. Although drilling all the holes in your body is alittle never raking.

The GT500 conversion is really easy (see sticky), it just takes money...
The price of parts went up and will again in January, so don't wait too long.

If you don't know if you're going to keep your stang (FOREVER) or if you don't know if you'll keep the spoiler I wouldn't drill. But if you want to drill and have never attempted to do something like this following the instructions and using my mini walk through will get you through it. If I can do it anyone can.
main reason that i did it with just tape is that, if it is good enough for the 1/4's, my thought it has to work for the spoiler

That's not good news!!! I've been reading on it for quite a wqhile. I was going to piece it together, but figured I'd save $$(because of shipping) if I buy it all as one set. Between tax time and when I get my bonus in march I'll be purchasing all pieces to do the conversion as well as an X-Charger...if the intercooled version is out by then...I guess the price is going up because the went to a new body style?

Your B&W combo makes the spoiler look fantastic. And you are right, once you drill that first hole, you are home free. Well done.

I bleed yellow and gold!! I was born in Pitt and lived there until I was 13. I got back when I can....Heinz field is the best!! Pitt sports are the best...where the Penguins winning the cup and the Steelers winning the superbowl is a common occurance. Glad to see another Pitt Sports fan on here.

Thanks....That's definitely the case, because after you drill the first one you know there's no turning back lol
