Hello, Bigwoods. On 2009 Nov 22th, you wrote: "I did find the motor number laser etched but it is to faint to be stenciled." May you inform where exactly you found the engine number laser etched? Here in Brazil I am with a problem that is similar to yours, but brazilian officials will allow a photo of the number. Thank you in advance.
Everybody pls help. I have same problem with these guys. I cannot find vin location for stencil on my GT 2015.

Hello, Cuong. My car is a GT500KR 2009. Although I have searched with a boroscope, I didn't find any stamped/etched engine number. First, people at Shelby Las Vegas told me there is a number. After, they said in more recent Mustangs Ford is not stamping/etching a number on the engine. In my case, local authorities will generate a special number to be stamped on the engine. Good luck!

My GT the engine number is down below the engine. You have to lift up your car then you will see it near by left front wheel.

can engine number be numbers only?
I have a similar problem. For my 2005 4.0L V6 I have found a number stamped on the back of the engine, but it has numbers only. Eight digits starting with 5524....
The import clearance company says that engine numbers always have a letter in the series.
Can someone confirm whether this number is the correct format? Is there somewhere else on the car with the engine number so that I can cross check it?
