315s not wide enough for the rear

Yesterday I saw a PI 2v at the mall with 305's. I asked him what he had done, after-cat exhaust. I lol'd.
Not to mention that huge rear tires will make you push like hell in the corners.
Just my opinion.
Some tire companies measure width from sidewall to sidewall, while other measure width by contact patch. Hence some appearing wider then others at the same reported width.

It's unnecessary. Your doing it only to make your car look faster. If you need more traction, which might be the case with your current setup, get D/R's. I relate the idea of getting wider and wider tires to the idea of getting bigger and bigger diameter wheels.

Correct which is why I was letting him know incase he didnt already... he might have a 315 BFG... which appears alot thinner then a 315 Nitto...
