Default Hood

I've had the front edge of the hood on my '06 worked on 3-4 times, the last time only 5-6 weeks ago. It's already starting again. Thanks Ford.

Mine has had it for some time. I had thought about having the hood repainted until I saw on the forums that other people had theirs repainted and it came back.

Seems to me that an aftermarket hood is the only way to fix it permanently.

Ford has nothing to do with repairs, bad or good. In your case bad obviously.
They just fugged up on the prepping step and still do sadly.
In the mean time, try to find a REAL body shop...
It's not hard to treat aluminum really, it's just more sensitive to contaminants than steel when it's bare that's all.
Not an impossible task for a decent shop...
