Glad everything worked out in the long run... glad Doug had your tune worked out because if both the tunes didnt work you'd probably be dissapointed.. I plan on getting some when I move out of Missouri. I know a nice little mustang shop down in El Paso thats done plenty of cam installs plus they have a dyno which is a plus.. Congrats and enjoy.

i think bama will come through, as long as you
can provide him with short, detailed descriptions
of the issues and you do the data logging if he
requests it.

Data logging would probably help a lot with getting the tunes as close to perfect as possible (with the addition of a wideband of course).

I need to look into how to do that since I've never done it.

i'd say that if you hear pinging then that's
probably going to mean datalogging for sure,
in order to optimize spark, air & fuel.

Love the fact that it ended up being a family project. The improvisation was cool. Congrats man. The car sound sick.

There seems to be another issue with my bama tune, although it may be related to the searching idle when coasting (with the brake on especially) under 30 mph.

Today in some traffic, the O/D light started to flash and the shifting got all weird. When I stopped to get gas, I started the car and everything was ok. I wonder if this searching idle is making the trans think there's something wrong with it or the TC. I checked for codes w/ the SCT and none were found.

I emailed this to Doug so hopefully it'll be fixed soon. I also sent an email to Brenspeed with my issues there.

any plans to dyno tune?

is there a tuner in your area, that
can come through if all else fails?
