Default MGW shifter

After reading multiple posts here I have decided to go with the MGW shifter. On their web site they list an optional Adjustable stop kit. I'm not sure what that it or what its advantages are, so any help or advice is appreciated.

You do not need the stop kit.

I know this isn't that helpful, but most recommendations I've seen say to not get it. I will also get the MGW at some point, but have had higher priorities as far as money goes lately.

Our trannys have an internal shift stop. You don't need the external one.

Rumor has it that they have a new improved model coming. You may want to call and ask before you order.

I think they do, there original design fell apart in my car, I had nothing but trouble with mgw in my 05. I was one of the first 100 people to get one as a test mule and it came out after the first 300 miles, everyone raves about mgw, I don't get it, mine was the biggest pos ever. I noticed they are now charging 300 bucks for them, back in 2006 when they introduced their shifter I only paid 200 bucks for it lol.
