I'm thinking alternator. Stock units are famous for causing weird electrical fubars.

i changed my batt and alternator not very long ago.my car had a check charging system light.then a batt light.batt died a couple times.got a new batt and dead a couple weeks later.in my case it was an alternator.

Not sure what PTDS is but the PATS
(Passive Anti-Theft System)
allows the engine to start THEN checks the
chip in the key to see if it matches the allowed
chip information in the ECM.

This is good diagnostics info in a no start situation...

I could have sworn I saw some posts about the battery running down when in storage or not starting the car for a week or two...

Try the key slot in the drivers side door handle...
