good idea man because they'll only go up in price... also, my mount bolt is still "out for delivery" from UPS... it was supposed to be delivered YESTERDAY. This is ridiculous... FEDEX is definitely a better choice or USPS even (FEDEX ships USPS packages anyway...)

Ford told me that I would need a new wiring harness to be able to use the new controls, I wonder if that is true.

I'm wondering about the gauge cluster as well. I wonder if a gt500 cluster would just be plug and play. It would be nice to go FI with this cluster since they have the boost gauge built in.

my bolts reschedule for tomorrow...

i tried getting some info from people on this forum, but no one had any input on the matter so I'll have to see what happens when i take the wheel off this weekend to do the install... ive looked on ford parts sites (where i bought the bolt from) to see if they had any steering wheel harnesses you could order and i couldn't find any... fingers crossed they all have the same harnesses

I have replaced the stock 2010 steering wheel with the 2009 Bullitt's wheel. It's a perfect match, and it is basically the same wheel. Got if from BlueOval ind., and it came with buttons and harness. Harness and buttons have to be switched(the orig.2010 should be used). I do like the new wheel a lot more than the stock plastic, but I like the idea of the 2010 GT500 wheel a lot more. What stops me is that a) the base 2010 V6 and GD don't have sync, and should have completely different wiring harnesses, because what I've seen in my vehicle - that harness won't work with any more buttons( in my point of view).
My fingers are crossed for bustacrab I hope I'm wrong all over it and everything will work out fine.
Keep us posted!

Yea this is why I think I am just going to be happy with my wheel for now and not worry about any of this.

I look at this way: If the buttons don't work so what. I would like the cruise control to still work, but if you put an aftermarket race steering wheel it wouldn't have any of those options for buttons. I think the overall look and feel from the the gt500 wheel is going to be amazing. I pretty sure there will be a way to get a harness to make the buttons work.
