What stops me is that a) the base 2010 V6 and GD don't have sync, and should have completely different wiring harnesses, because what I've seen in my vehicle - that harness won't work with any more buttons( in my point of view).
My fingers are crossed for bustacrab I hope I'm wrong all over it and everything will work out fine.
Keep us posted!
I certainly will and I am fairly certain UPS has lost my package... I just put in a claim... sigh... one more reason I'm preferring using the USPS and FEDEX over ****ty UPS.... GreyGhost, I will post pics and everything as soon as I get that damn bolt!! But UPS is in. my. way.

Hey all. Great forum. I registered just to reply that I too am quite interested in this wheel swap. I have a 2010 base GT on order and don't like the stock wheel much. I await updates and pics with eagerness.

I'd go to the body shop at the local Ford dealer and see if they have one they could spare.

I called around and the dealers didn't have any so I just ordered it online

I reordered one today via USPS... hopefully I'll be reimbursed from UPS

Well, I got my bolt in today (finally) and unfortunately FORD has not given us the same wiring harness, or possibly, the head unit on ours lacks the functionality for this. However, my install is done. Pics to come.

So we 10 owners cannot use the Audio Controls on the wheel? Could we order the harness from Ford? Dang man! I can't wait to see the pics though!

Did you lose all function of the buttons? Or did you just have the same controls as before but the new awesome wheel?
