I'm just glad this ordeal is about over. Need a few minor things checked, alignment, balancing and hopefully it's nothing deeper, the speaker and window replaced. Then I should be free from that nightmarish place.

sorry to dig up this old thread, but I went to go wash and dry my car today, I found paint chips all over the edges of my trunk lid and the body!!!

I am so pissed off. The body shop is being all dodgy with me and I stopped by earlier today. Manager was out at lunch (I did get there around 12:30). They are doing more damage to my car than when I had brought it in!!

Is this something to pick a bone with them about or just use touch up paint? Some of the chips are huge and all the way through the primer. I have no idea how they managed to do that.

Its best to go over that car, when picking it up before all final bills are paid, If there are any defects it should have been noted. Its hard to get them to do anything after you pick it up and notice days later. Your bodyshop had some pretty poor practices and poor workmanship right up to the detail work. Sounds like they have the sucks to be you attitude. I work ed in a bodyshop when I was younger and things they did to you would kill a buisness real quick. Too bad you went threw all that!
