Here is how I look at it. If the stuff the dealership puts on the car is really protecting anything, wouldn't Ford put it on at the factory? Cars are tested in all climates and conditions. Salt, water, heat and cold are all tested as part of proving a new vehicle. I have always thought it was total BS
