Damn, and I thought I put a lot of miles on. I'm at 63.5K now and put on about 300 miles a week. My drive to work is 50 miles so that's 100 miles a day. But, I also work from home two days a week so it's only 300 miles a week instead of 500.

Heh, all this time I thought my drive was too long.

But, I will be cutting it in half "soon" once I buy a house closer to work. It won't be CLOSE, but it'll end up being 50 miles a day instead of 100.

Love hearing stories like this but i bet that paint is in need of help unless you have had the front bumper and hood painted a couple of times at least.

I get on it when the time is right but not all the time - gotta get my money's worth out of the mods

I still get compliments on this car weekly - paint is good except for front bumper - no one can believe it has the miles - everyone guesses like 20k or lower

Of my 6 Toyotas, I put over 200,000 miles on 4 of them and 152,000 and 178,000 miles on the other 2. Other than a few rock chips, the paint on all of those was still in excellent shape. No reason the Ford would be otherwise.

The trick is to not stay/follow behind a dump truck or any vehicle involved with construction sites.
Put a Toyota in between,
