Reading comprehension ftw... Were comparing the difference between the manual and automatic on the 5.0. Not the 4.6 to the 5.0.

...though my 2010 is in storage for the winter, so it's hard to do a direct comparison.

Will post more in the next few days as I drive it more.

Have I mentioned how much I love my job?
can i send you my resume? ha

Lets see, a 5.0 6speed manual with 3:73's vs 5.0 auto with 3:31's, only 3% diff..not!..There's a reason why i bought a 5 speed manual over an auto and it equates to more then just a 3% difference...

Its still a 3% difference, it just comes with better gearing available.

Yea this doesnt make an any sense to the point or have to do with the power on the AT and MT. Obviously better gears is going make either better compared to the other. An auto with 3.73s is going to better then a manual with 3.31s, so Im not sure what your point was?

Cool

Sweet.. Looking forward to your full report.

Been looking heavy over the Price Order guides. Love the price point for the 11 over the 10.. Very well done as far as what you get with the extras from the 10 to the 11 model.. Ford seems to have hit this one out of the park.. Time will tell with the new motor and extras like the EPAS system etc..

Thanks for posting and staying with us on the board.. Feels like we have an insider with you working at Ford and letting us know what your up to from time to time.. It is appreciated!

Yours On MF
