Once again I'm in the minority. NO WAY would I ducktail unless you're ABSOLUTELY certain that you won't want a different look in a year or two. I really wanted the GT500 spoiler on my car but the owner before me mounted a CDC Ducktail. Now I've got ten holes drilled across my trunk and fenders so I can't have the spoiler I want. Another issue I have with the ducktail is that the smaller one like I have looks good from the back but there's not enough height and angle from the front and side views. You could go with the larger one but that looks too big from the rear. You better be damn sure before you go this route. Here's the difference between the CDC and the GT500 spoilers.

With the choices offered, I'd go duck tail. That said, I would like to see someone make a duck tail that is actually functional. If one came out, I would replace my GT Wing.

Does anyone have actual data on the aero on the GT Wing vs. Gt 500 Spoiler, vs. anything else?

Wow Pascal! I've never seen these pics of your ride. Never really seen a full shot of it.

Excuse me while I go find a towel to wipe the drool from my mouth.

I think I'm leaning towards doing the CDC ducktail, but keeping it how it is still has a chance. With the talks of its rarity, and how, with some SHR louvers, can look like a '65 Shelby, I am going to wait and go ahead and buy the SHR quarter louvers first(maybe within the next 7 weeks, I have a birthday coming up) to get a better feel for the car, and how it looks like that, then decide one way or the other, and finally proceed to put some 12" BSM White racing stripes and Agent 47 mirrors with only the cup painted.

It's a GT but not a Bullitt, so I'd think go with the little ducktail. After looking at both at 300% in MS PhotoEditor (yeah, I know) I feel that it fills out the space between the top of the trunk lid and the bumper cover a little better at least from the angles shown (something about most concave shapes).

It probably does have a little function, but only a little.

One of the few times you'll catch me actually recommending what's mostly an appearance mod.
