Gratz guys, glad to hear they took care of you and that you are getting the product.

As for the poster who put the "get the V6 and save $125" LOL is all I can say.
Don't worry about any safety issues, make sure the parts you buy for you car are cheap, that always works well. (sarcasm)

Can't wait to hear the feed back from you the group buy, it snowed about 10" so the car is in the garage.

I too was interested in the group buy, however the thread that was setup for it was locked by a moderator. For the life of me I cannot understand why. I frequent a local mountain biking forum and we do group guys there all the time, and have saved a bunch of money in the process.

Because the forum rules state that a business must be a sponser to actively participate in things like group buys.

Well I have put about 2.5k miles on this, hit some constant high speeds and I have no complaints. In fact its been a great mod. I only hope that those who got in on a group buy like this as much as I do.
In a few weeks I'm going to hit the track and I'll update again then.

Those of you running the Shaftmasters DS, did you install a safety loop and/or adjustable UCA?

I installed a BMR front loop when I put in my DS, but didn't mess with the UCA. The install of the loop takes all of about 2 minutes and I felt the $100 cost was cheap insurance if the DS every happens to come loose.

Did the safety loop.

Just an update, I've put about 5k miles on the car this summer, hit the track a few times and I'm sooo happy with this mod. Huge noise reduction, no vibrations and hit my PB time at the track.

Yes I know modding is expensive but a mod that makes your car ride smoother, quiter and is safter to boot is a worthwhile upgrade. I'm glad I got this driveshaft.
