if i leave my usb flash drive plugged into the center consule, the little light stays on......wouldnt this mean its drawing power all the time?
my 2010 is not a DD so i would hate to kill the battery over something stupid like that, but i would love to keep my flash drive plugged in all the time.
lemme know

i like our sync/nav system also but i have one question, how can i take advantage of the hard drive for our music, everything i have tried to get music on the hard drive didnt work. I can copy one cd at a time but there has got to be a better way. I would hate to have 10 gigs available but close to unusable.

After finally getting my car a few weeks ago, I'm so glad I sprung for the Electronics Package. This thing is legit.
I know I could have gotten most of the functionality with just the regular Sync, but having it on that big nice screen is awesome.
Still poking around to try and figure everything out, but it's pretty easy. I was able to get down the basics within 10 mins of driving around. I love it.
Regarding the 2nd USB port in the glovebox, I'll have to look into that and see if I can rig up a spare USB hard drive in there. I keep an iPod nano in my center console all of the time and it works perfectly, but I'd love to have all of my music in one place.
I'd also 2nd the comment about making it easier to rip songs to the internal HDD. I don't really own any CDs, so that's pretty much useless to me. I'd love to be able to just transfer songs from a flash drive. Maybe that can come in a software update.
Either way, this system is fantastic and the team behind it deserves mad props.

I'm still around--I had my workload increased a hundred thousand million percent, which keeps me occupied all day, all night, and most weekends. Thus, I haven't had the time I've wanted to keep up on the Forums, but I haven't forgotten about anyone.
As soon as I get some time, I'll be back on answering questions, responding to PMs, and the like.
And I'll also be at the Northern U.S. and Canada MF Meet & Greet in case I haven't managed to answer your questions by then.
