Rear deck speaker installation complete! Wasn't too bad. I think I discovered some safe shortcuts I will share. Will post tutorial with pics as soon as I get time. Wife and I are heading out to a party followed by the Irish Pub later tonight

Well, I replaced my 2 door speakers today and it was alot easier than I thought. Those plastic parts snap out awfully easy! On the Pioneer's I had to clip off two unused screw tabs to make them fit. The orignal speakers look so cheap compared to the replacment ones. See photos below.

Hey, I just checked out your photos and write up. Excellent! Thanks! It looks like a bigger pain than the door speakers but you have alot of good photos showing how it is done. I plan to install the same Pioneer type speakers in the rear as I did in the doors as soon as my tax refund comes back. With my new speakers in the doors I notice alot better highs and mid range, not much noticable low end. But at high volume the speakers sound 100% better than stock.

Hey guys...saw a mention or two of the speaker harness adapters on crutchfield...are these the right ones? I'm gonna throw in a set of 6.5" components using a speaker adapter and didn't want to hack up the factory harnesses...
