Exclamation what are common 2005 Mustang Problems

Are there any problems with the 05? Since it was the first year production of the S197.

There are many of them and many TSB's on them....water leak issue, frozen e- brake issues...etc....try doing a search and you dont have to look far as just a few threads above there are stickies that will give every problem and fix you can find....

EDIT: I dont want the 05 guys and gals to think I am slamming the 05....I have been on this forum and many others for yrs and know of the many issues that some 05's have (not all)......no car is created equally well unfortunately....

I bought mine new in '05 and the car has never been back to the dealer.

What did break was the back seat release **** on the passenger's side.

I bought my 05 used with 21000 miles on it. I have 35000 on it now, no problems yet.

One of the worst problems is funding the mod bug. I'm sure that's pretty common. LOL
