Default My $11 take on the $270 Ford racing valve covers! (Pics)

So.... 11 dollars at autozone for some high temp primer and some ford blue, took my time, pretty happy with results.

Can't see the pics from work. But I will tell you that mine held strong for about 2 years. Then some areas started to bubble but didn't chip until I touched them when taking them off for the build.

Like I said I can't see the pics, which ford blue, like my sig or is it the darker blue?

Thats all I did. Well cleaned, primered, painted, I baked them a bit too (in over door cracked and set to 170) because I was gonna have them on the car in less then the 24 hours they ask for. The coat is kinda easy to damage but so long as you put them in very carefuly you should get them in fine, and once in, you should get a long time out of them. Considering Boozshey said he got about 2 years before his started to show, figure for the cost you can redo these about 25 time, I'm not too concerned.
