Default 05-09 vs 10-present

Ok maybe it's just me but I think Ford got it right the first time with the 05-09's.I think the back of the cars looks way better.I don't like the new tailights, and the bottom of the rear bumper, and the side rocker moldings not painted to match the color of the car is a mistake.I do like the new hood, but the grill and the front bumper on the 05-09's looks more aggresive.I can't argue with the new 5.0 over the 4.6,and the new interior is a upgrade, but I'll take my round chrome AC vents anyday! So let the debate begin!

This debate was argued in late 2008 when the 2010s were made public, so I'm not sure if you're gonna get many responses............neither car is perfect, but I'm sure the consensus would be to have the '05-'09 exterior, 2010-11 interior & the 2011 5.0L drive-train in it, just my 2 centavos...........

I, too, find the '10 back end less desireable than the '05-'09. I know many who feel the same and they're not even owners.

Change for the sake of change, the factory evidently feels they can't keep the same body style for too long or there would be no reason to buy a new one.

IMO the 2010 looks better all the way around compared to the 05/09 models. Not to say I didn't like the 05/09 models but the 2010 to me is a more refined model. Better interior for sure and I like the rear end much better on the new models. The one thing I don't like on the exterior is the plastic along the bottom. I can see it looking like crap in a few years. I really couldn't be much happier with my 2010!!

Personally i enjoy the After Market mustangs and it's going to be a tough time trying to beat all the 05-09's. I really can't wait to see what SMS comes out with.

Careful, the 2010 crowd is a sensitive bunch.

It's funny, most 05-09 owners can recognize the improvements in the front, side profile and interior. But all 2010 owners can't admit that the 2010 rear is less-than-desirable (they even go to lengths to emphasize that the rear of the 2010 is the best improvement of all - LOL).

Now I will put on my flame suit as the Defenders of the 2010 Mustang will take aim!

Maybe because not everyone shares your opinion that the 2010's rear end is less-that-desirable?
