I did the $300+ on a spoiler. And it was never right. I did the $90 shipped spoiler, and it was just as good as the $300. I'd do it again for the price.

Ebay has several stores that cost between 77-200 for probably almost the exact same thing, really how much different can it be just.

OEM cost is $400 painted i would guess...it depends on how much OEM is going for now.

I think there is a difference between cheap and practical. The company has delivered tons of great product at a great price. You will find some that are hit and miss but the majority are good. $400 is alot for a spoiler especially when you know their are alternatives much better priced. In this case, its a great buy as long as you dont get one of those few spoilers that arent quite right.

My paint guy laughed when i told him how much i paid for my spoiler when he was doing my hood (i paid 160 btw long while ago). He said it was a good buy since it would have been $100 for paint and such for him to do it probably.

Might take a little longer....but hang out on cobra specific forums. They take things off their cars regularly, and I am certain you could pick one up reasonably. I will keep an eye out for you.

Yes I understand money is a factor. If people got nice spoilers from them, I am so very happy for those folks. That would mean the SpoilerStore's claims are partially correct. That's much more acceptable to me. (NOT)

Good luck OP. Remember, easy fixes are cheap for a reason. Once burnt by a particular manufacture/vendor and not reaching an amenable resolution, I am done for good with them.

i know what u mean. i'm only 19 and dont even make that a week lol.

an update. they said that they want me to pay ANOTHER $120 for another spoiler, and then PAY to ship the one i have now back when i get the other. they said they would then refund $100 back. i'm just like WTF. so they are trying to charge me ~$35 to fix THEIR mistakes. not even right. . . . i think that's straight B.S.!!!

if they are going to advertise and say they will give u a LIFETIME warranty against material/worksmanship defects and a 3yr warranty against paint defects, THEY SHOULD HONOR IT!!!! Never again will i do business with such crooks. it's B.S. and they know it!

on another note, a mechanic who happens to be a fan of S197's and apparently owns one said he'll see if he can do something for me. he also asked me to see if i can get an unpainted spoiler from them. The Mustang Community is a real special group of people, i swear!

well i got a call today, and from what i was told the guy who looked at the spoiler believes the fish-eyes are actually in the clear. he also says that if i keep the spoiler he'll fix it and even detail it for me for free. i told him i'd be more than willing to pay since it was such a generous offer, and he insists it's no big deal, he has a bunch of supplies/etc in his garage so he can do it all in his garage. so i guess, screw thespoilerstore. i'm going to just keep it and let him fix it lol.

i'm supposed to be meeting up with him tomorrow morning to take it to his place. good thing i'm working 1-9pm lol.
