Default Should I take a even trade for a 03 Viper?

I always wanted a Viper and I was made an offer to trade my 07 Mustang for a 03 Viper.

The Viper is bone stock and he claims it is in perfect condition with 19K miles. From what I here the Vipers ride pretty rough but how do they compare to a Mustang with my suspension upgrades? How do they accelerate compared to a KB supercharged Mustang with 487 rwhp? I love the way my clutch feels compared to other high performance clutches. My plan is to supercharge, lower and forged wheels if I decide to get the Viper. Any one with experience will be greatly appreciated.

Here is a description of my car.

Here she is:

Old dyno video on a Mustang dyno. The car makes 487 rwhp now.

NOOOO!!! keep the stang!!...viper is one hell of a cool thought but i do not and will not trust the dodge transmissions...especially a viper...ex girl, truck in the shop tranny failure..dude from work Ram SRT-10 been thru 3 transmissions, 3!!! seen 2 or 3 vids of viper transmissions failing somewheres on the internet..im just not willing to be the next...dont get me wrong everything mechanical has its failure point, mustangs arent perfect, but i would take my chances with a ford before i would go with a dodge..

my 2 cents dude

How much do you know about Vipers?

Repair costs, parts availibility, reliability, ride comfort and such. If you know what you're getting into and you are OK with it, then make yourself happy.

I can see how it might be a tough decision for some.

To me, the Mustang is a car. The Viper is a gold necklace you can drive.
Too ostentatious for me.

A great opportunity for you if it all works out.

I dont know much about the Vipers. I took a test RIDE today in one exactly like the one I might trade and it didnt seem faster than my car. The ride didnt seem to rough either. He wouldnt let me drive it but I did ride in the pass. seat. This was only for a couple miles so I really didnt learn much.

damn, that's pretty nice...however your stang still beats it.... i would prob go to like ebay and see what they are running for, see if the price range/resell value is equal to ur stang they are usually good to evaluate the value of the car.
