Folks :

I did the same yesterday, with my gt 2011, with security package, but i have 2 problems :

1. I can only open the door garage when i put on the lights map on, i can not open if the motor is running , so i must put on the map light with the switch in the left.
2. I have the air bag light in the central console on all the time.

Any advise, I am just desperate as no official ford dealer here, point 2.

Many Thanks

You need to correct the splices.

You need to splice into + wire for the map light .. .. between the connector and switch so it always has power. You need to ground it to a black wire. Don't touch any wires on the controlled side of the switch and don't touch the airbag light wires.
