Default REVISED BATTERY HOLD DOWN & COVER

I cleaned the insallation up . Rerouted the battery cable and cut the stud down on the positive terminal . Made the rear cover wider and longer so it covered down over the sides . Cut out of lexan and bent with a heat gun. Painted with a hammer finish to match the strut bar . Attached with heavy duty velcro . Dont get it.
Whats the purpose?
That looks like an exploding time bomb if and when that
aluminum cover touches those lead battery terminals.
Acid everywhere.
Not pretty.
Whats the function again?
Pretty but on the edge of stupid....

Its like rock, paper, scissors.
Aluminum cuts plastic battery terminal covers when enough force is applied.
