Throttle control and experiance on using the clutch! Find that sweet spot where you know the limits of being incontrol and out of control, Leave that traction control on for a while. When you get better and used to the car turn it of and have some fun!

if you do leave the t/c on, i'd suggest you stay out of boost. boost and lean conditions (t/c) don't mix very well.

23 and full of spunk.
Maybe get something with a little less HP to learn manual
transmission/high HP level driving skills and THEN upgrade
to the KB HP when you feel comfortable??
Your body panels and wheel rims will thank you for it...

all kiddin aside, enjoy and dont kill anyone in the process....

Wet weather + locking rear diff + water soaked highway +
offramp has turned into a guard rail riding experience for
some round here...

+1 on leave TC off to prevent lean and feathering the throttle. Simply "flooring it" is for kids that don't know how to drive and are looking to add a telephone pole mod or tree mod to their Stang.

Thanks for the advice guys...The T/C button is permanently OFF, and can not be turned on. It is completely disconnected in some way so no worries about that

I guess I just need to learn how to drive it sounds like basically, and get a good set of drag radials...I always assumed that people at the track just basically floored their cars...maybe i should spend alittle time over at the track/strip forum on this board

A 305DR will help. Be sure to get wheels with the correct off-set for the tires to work. If the car is going to be some a dd then you might want to look at a different tire.

yeah screw the traction control and get a set of 305 drag radials. once you have the extra grip your senses and your right foot are all the traction control you need
