Default 2010 Price, how does $26,800 sound?

My uncle is looking at purchasing a 2011 mustang, hes already pre-ordered it and everything, but now the dealer is saying they will sell him a brand new 2010 for $26,800....7k less than his 2011....what do you guys think? should he get the 2010 or 2011

2011 ALL THE WAY!!!!!

That is assuming GT VS. GT

If I had a chance, I wouldn't even think about the 2010 if it was between that and 2011.
I'll take a 2010 if it was free, but I'd still buy a 2011.

If that's a 2010 GT premium that sounds like a pretty good deal. I'd go back and say make it 26k straight up.

If it's a base GT, not a good deal. I have a base GT and paid 26k out the door...7 months ago..

If he's not intending on modding the '11 then talk the dealer down another $1k-2K and take the '10, then get it s/c'd.

it would be pretty retarded to get a 10 over the 11 with the 5.0 motor coming IMO.

Yeah, especially when mods come out for the coyote.

And you have to remember resale on the backend too. I think that 2010s will take a big depreciation hit over the long term.

there's a lot of stuff in the 2011 that's not in the 2010. for example, 6 speed, better aerodynamics, better brakes...that's a lot of stuff that'd be hard and costly to upgrade.
