2010 splash guards
#2
Im pretty sure any lower body add-on parts from 05-09 will not fit a 2010+. If you wanted the rear splash guards you will likely have to convert to the GT500 rear valence and then add the ones that are associated with that car. Wilkinda did this if im not mistaken.

These:

Should fit. I bought a set for my 2010 and next when I get a case. screw hole location in the whell well appear to be the same as my son's 2007 Mustang. I will trial fit one of my son's on mine first to be sure.
This guards are flat. I do not know how the mold units would fit.

Sorry, but I just can't see these great bodies with splash guards. I just add a bit more wax to that area to protect it. If you want to maintain the cars look you can always get some of that clear bra material and add it in that back area. A lot of cars are doing that now. It's just a clear film you attach to the body.

that link just shows mud flaps.
Go to your Ford parts counter and order a pair of splash guards from the 2010 GT500.
I believe they are the same, smaller profile style as the 2007+ GT500's. Those could go straight on any pre-2009 S197, but needed a bit of modification to fit perfectly.
Regular molded splash guards will probably also be available but unless you have a black Mustang they will stick out way too much, IMO

Yea, I have always lived in Sunny So Cal so old man winter has never been an issue. If you live in areas with really bad winters I guess you could probably do the same as people do with tires. Put on the mud guards with winter tires, and take them off for the summer.

Then either try the GT500 splash guards (I think they'll fit) or get the clear vinyl overlay. Done right, the overlay is pretty innocuous and works well.
