Front wheel hub installation - has anyone done this?
I've ordered some new front hub/bearing assemblies and plan to swap them out myself next weekend. Has anyone done this job and are there any issues or difficulties? The only thing that concerns me is getting the spindle nuts retorqued to the 300 ft. lbs or so that's required...

I've recently done this job myself a few weeks ago and it was extremely simple since the hubs on our cars just slide right off and back on again.
1) Remove wheels, calipers, and rotors.
2) Use a breaker bar and spindle nut socket (can't remember the exact size off the top of my head) to remove the large nut holding on the hub.
3) Slide off hub. It may take a little coercing if it's been on there for a long time.
4) Slide on new hub and tighten nut to 221 ft-lbs. There are torque wrenches that go that high. Sears has one for about $120.
5) Reverse step 1.

Thanks for the tips! I've swapped my front control arms out a few times so this shouldn't be above my technical level. Things that can be seized on like the hub to spindle always make me a bit nervous. I also plan to rent a puller just in case. I picked up the spindle lock nut kit as well to replace those with new ones.
These are the parts I purchased. Anything else I might require?

TIMKEN HA590017 Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly

One more thing I want to add. When tightening the spindle nuts you may want someone to hold the steering wheel for you. I know when I did it the torque wrench would start to turn the steering system before I reached proper torque. Once I got someone to hold the wheel things would tighten up without a hitch.
