ok, so i received my tune from bama chips and i was really excited to get that JLT on the car when it happened!, the damn program wont work with windows 7! sheesh!

does anyone know how i can get it to work on windows 7?

If your using Win 7 ultimate you can run in the xp mode. Have you checked the SCT site for more info on
Win 7? I see they have win 7 upgrades for the X3, what tuner do you have?

Hmm.. I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64bit and didnt have any problems loading the SCT software or getting my tunes uploaded to the tuner. I wonder what's up.

Couple things to try...

1) Run the program as an administrator. Right click the shortcut, click run as administrator

2) Change the compatibility settings. Right click shortcut, goto properties. Click compatibility tab. Check box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose Windows XP.

What's weird is I can not get the SCT software to work on my desktop PC with Win7 64bit no matter what I do, but my notebook with the SAME DAMN OS it works just fine with no trickery. It just worked. :/

ok it was the opposite for me, my dads desktop worked fine but in my laptop it was messing up...but i got it in! the CAI is in! and it sounds awesome!!!!! i love it! great tune by bama too! thanks for your help guys!
