Problems with Lowering?
#11
I just lowered mine this weekend with Koni's and H&R springs. It's going to take me a little while to get used to. I scraped the bottom of my exhaust tubes going over a speed bump. But you just have to take things kinda slow.

If FRPP sells a kit for it, you can be sure that it won't rub.
Of course, that means with stock wheels or properly chosen after market ones (offset etc...).
Also, these cars have rolled fender edges (first body style that came that way ever) for that very reason...

I couldnt agree more with "Cutterwolf" - you do have to train yourself on driving a lowered car but purchasing the right size tires can make a big difference too so do your homework on the tires you purchase!! I went with Toyos and not one problem. BM is lowered right at 1.5" all the way around. Good luck!!!!!

there is a reason people say these things look like a pickup from the factory.
tons of fenderwell room...like the expect us to connect a trailer and tow a load around
just remember that you'll have to take speed bumps diagonally, and driveways, and any other situation where there is a road height change. i had my 03 GT lowered 1.5" and I scraped everything. I love the look of the 05+ lowered, but I can't take that headache anymore. Hell, my front bumper skirt is already dragging on the concrete stop in parking stalls
