New MGW Shifter???
#21
I called Wednesday; they said they had a bunch of parts and were assembling/shipping. Mine was supposed to ship out today (Friday). You guys gotta quit buying them; I think you're slowing my order down LOL. Anyway, for those waiting, hopefully the wait will be coming to an end soon!

Cool, I like the Hurst ball better anyway. I just hope you can't see/feel that nut or lock washer under the ball.

I didn't ask the question either as the promo for the new shifter said you could re-use the original boot. But that wasn't with the chrome shaft. Oh well, find out if it ever gets here.

I drove up to Augusta yesterday. MGW has a well organized shop. When I arrived the owner asked me to take his GT to lunch while they installed my shifter, and make a determination on the adjustment. He had his set to 3 turns. I'd have to admit that was perfect for me also. I loved the drive back to Jacksonville. You can feel the quality with every shift. I was out the door for $250 for the shifter and $50.00 for the retro **** (white with black shift lines) also, free install… I haven’t tried any other shifters; however, if they’re half the quality this one is, they’d have a great product.
