Default who said LT's arnt worth it?

Went to the track with my new Pypes longtubes and catted h pipe on the car last nite. Ran a 13.22 at 105.64 which was nearly two tenths faster than my pb before 13.40 at 104.20.

Car sounds like a beast, and now runs faster, what more can you ask for? It was a fun nite!!

how much did those cost you?

cause for me, they wouldn't be worth it...two tenths wouldn't be worth the $1,500 plus install...

Congrats on the new times and post a video when you get a chance. I would love L/Ts, but no go here in Cali.

Regardless of the mod, well done on the 2/10s improvement. Can you be sure the LTs were responsible though...could be weather temp, humidity, track prep, tire pressure, fuel level, driving, etc etc etc. So many parameters contribute to the final result

LT do much more for FI than NA, FWIW.

And only people without LTs say its not worth it. . . never heard anyone say they made a mistake by adding LTs. Maybe sorry for selecting the wrong brand, but that's anther story.

OP, nice gains. You get the trumpeting resolved to your satisfaction?

I don't know what the OP paid for his but I know that you can get the Pypes LT's with an o/r midpipe for $680 I think it is a couple hundred more for the catted mid pipe and then installation is about $500 (in CA that is, don't know about other places) or if you're cheap like me install yourself. Definitely worth it though, IMHO.

DistantSoilder, My LT's were only $650 and the sound is unbeatable. Plus you can always just do the install yourself. That would elliminate any extra cost aslong as you take your time with it.

And congrats on the new times!

Lt's aren't worth it for those numbers.
