Default Looking to buy this Mustang Gt

Hi everyone, quick story to introduce my self. Im in the need of a new car since my 04 wrx sti was totaled. My brother has a 2009 bullitt wich i fell in love with after driving it. I have buddies with the s197 mustangs and i like the looks of them. So i found this one at a dealer about 50 miles away and i love the look and everything done it. It looks like a reincarnation of the Elenor mustang from my favorite movie gone in 60 secounds.

i would like to know what body kit this car has? Or is it a bunch of different parts put together. The car is a 2006 with 44k miles, they are asking 23 but a salesman said he can give it to me for 21500. Its completly stock and looks like leather interior but the inserts look aftermarket in the seats.

What do you guys think? Also how much would it cost to get 4.10s installed from ford on this car? The stock mustang gts performance isnt enough so i gotta fix that first.

hows reliability on these cars?

i havent had any problems with mine and it has 45k miles. The car just has a bunch of random body parts not one specific kit. As for 4.10's i have those too and it costed me about 600 installed.

the engine compartment looks a little dirty and it should match the exterior, so that raises a few questions for me.
The car is probably off warranty but since you are already considering 4.10's I wouldn't worry about reliability much.

thanks for the replies guys. Why do you say i should forget about reliablity if i get the 4.10s.

Is the acceleration difference from the 4.10s to 3.73s that great of a difference?

Whats a good asking price for the car?

The car dose not have a warranty, iam debating getthing the extended warranty. How reliable are these new 3v engines. What kind of powe can be made staying NA.

They're asking way too high. Those body panels actually decrease the value of the car, and a stock 06 GT with 44k miles is only worth about 16-18, and that's a GENEROUS offer. I would try and get them down to 14 or so, or just find a different car. If you like the Eleanor Style anything by cervini would be golden.

yea i also feel 21 is to much for the car. i have found mustang gts for around 17-18-19k. The thing about it is, how much would it cost me to transform a regular gt into what this car is. The elenor style. i would assume around 2-3gs so its kinda already included in this car. Feel free to correct me if im wrong, im on here for facts and opinions.

ok looking car, bit much for me personally but whatever. If you really like it, tell the salesmen he can give it to you for 20,000, otherwise I would walk. Like someone said before, all that crap on the car is not worth anything unless its the right person.

4 grand for Cervini's kit, but it includes the whole shabang, as well as side exhaust. That's what I'd do if I were you. Also cheaper if you do your own work.
