If it were me and I was in your situation. If this wasn't your DD. And you can afford to take your time.

Build yourself a helluva nice motor. Start with that aluminator. Get some good blower cams. Port those heads. Make a screamer man!

I have another vehicle in that I can borrow one of my dads. We'll take our time with it. We're going to do the work ourselves. We've both built motors before. I've had experience with a fuel injected 350 and a 97 m3 motor and he built plenty during his twenties hehe. He just had shoulder surgery so I think he's there for moral support. Time to get my cherry picker back hehe.

FWIW I'm glad to see you're building it back up to be even better, it'll be great in the end

Looking forward to seeing what you find when the motor comes apart.

sorry to hear of whats transpired. im a parts manager at a Mazda dealer and if this situation happened here it would have gone better, not that that helps you much lol.

im sorry that dealer felt like screwing you. not standing behind the product at all. thats really sad. and if not the dealer than saleen should have offered to help imho. if they got the ***** to SC mustangs then they shoud have the ***** to help out a owner imho. this could have been "good willed" so easily.

Sorry to hear that. You can tell em this **** poor business practices cost them at least one sell. I am sure they could care less, but if you could get enough people that are local to them to reconsider buying from them, maybe they will reconsider screwing over customers. At least you could help some other guy later down the road.
