I have been trying to build my black MCA edition online, and I noticed by default the MCA comes with "black stripes". The problem is that I want to order my car in black, so how is that going to work out? I basically can't see the stripes at all. I m assuming they are going to put a lighter color stripe on there, probably a white right? Atleast thats how I got my pony package stripes on my 06. The build website doesn't allow for me to choose that color.

The only way you can see the stripes on the v6 MCA is if you change your exterior to a lighter color. Anyone possibly ordering the MCA have some ideas on what I should expect?

No, the black satin stripes will still be on the car. You can still see it if you look closely. This is based off a picture I saw of a black MCA that still had the side stripes.

Interesting... I guess it doesn't really matter if I order it on or off since its not that noticeable in black. Hopefully having it on there will make people pay more attention to the details.

Ah thanks Twohitta.. that is one bad *** ride and thanks for those high res pics. So its really a grey'ish Satin and it definitely has a good look to it. I m getting your exact same order and not deleting the stripes! PS. Did you get the 3.31 rear axle?

Thanks for the thumbs up. Yes, I got the 3.31's which I would recommend. The rest of the specs are, 6 speed auto, charcoal black leather, security package, and remote start(which sucks with the MyKey). Here's a quick shot of the front, sorry it's not hi res like the others, took it with my phone real quick.

nice, my kona blue mca should be in my driveway on monday, just trying to finalize insurance before then. Even on the kona, the stripe is barely noticeable.
