I hate resurrecting dead threads, but this was oneof the best reads on the forum.

Sucks you went through it, but damn, you got it going and I hope you haven't had any further issues.

Nice work and thanks for tyring to keep everyone in the loop.

Thanks for the kind words. Just recently sold it, but the rebuild was complete in 2010, so we had it for a few years. Went to a nice 67 year old fella who is hopefully enjoying the heck outta it. I'm pleased to say that in 2 years and about 5-6000 hard miles, we didn't have 1 issue, aside from the battery dying after 3 weeks of not being driven.

I honestly believe he got a bullet proof car .

Siggy, what do you plan on getting now? I noticed you have a BMW + Cadillac . Are you going to return with a mustang?

Just about the best thread that I have read. I learned a lot, and it is great how helpful people are on here.

Apologies, as I never saw this post and the thread probably dropped off the first page quickly.

The Cadillac is gone too, I sold that quite awhile ago. The BMW is my father's toy, and he still has it.

I DO want to return to a Mustang, and am diligently paying off student loans so I can essentially get a "free" car. Free because currently I pay 400+ a month in student loans, and once those are gone I could replace that payment with a 400 a month Mustang and not feel it . I'll be looking for a 2013 Black Boss 302 LS, unless the model refresh looks overly enticing .

Presently I drive a hippie electric car, but am looking to pick up a bike in the next month or two for those days when I need a little fun.

Thanks HsvGT! I agree, the people on here were VERY helpful. One member helped me via phone, another actually showed up and helped me with cam installs, and a ton contributed through these forums. Couldn't have done it without them!

Smile 2006 saleen, your old car

Just to let you know that I still have your 2006 Saleen. What do you have now, Mustang or a supercharged BMW.
