hahahaha...only problem in my case is when I drop her off at the mall, she wants me to come with her and I end up sitting on those mall supplied benches with all the other saps

Well I got a call from the dealership, and they said they are going to replace the ring and pinion in accordance with the TSB even though my car was built after the dates covered in the TSB.

Glad to hear they're at least doing something instead of just scratching their heads.
I have a whining question, too. In my GT 5-sp, if I have the tranny in gear (1-3) while slowing down, even with the clutch pressed fully, I hear a whining sound from the center console. If I put it in neutral, the sound goes away. Is this just the syncros or something? I'm used to stds doing this in 1st but not in 2nd and 3rd like this. My build date was 06/05 so most of the TSB's I'm hearing about shouldn't apply to this car.
