Yes, since its called "six shooter" its going to be a 4.0 build but with pewrformance

Sounds exciting, i drew up some sketches to do this to a '65 but never went through with it.

Sounds like a fun project. Last year our mustang club went to a WWII air museum, and had each of our cars photographed next to the P-51. Keep us up on the progress.

Not a Mustang, but a tribute to the P-51 at least...

Make sure you supercharge it to match the Alison engines equipped Mustangs

(oh, that concept car below is a DIESEL hehehe!)

Actually....I'd go with the MKIX Spitfire as "THE" fighter of its time The P-51 was the supreme AMERICAN fighter. And even then, I loved the P-38 but it was too expensive and not quite as versatile. Then there's the F4U Corsair, which won the war in the Pacific...

But I get what you're saying :-D

well im starting out with a windveil blue mustang. the nose of the plane is yellow. i dont exactly wanna copy the one tribute already mad, with a yellow nose on the car.

do you guys thing a yellow super stripe would be more appropriate for the front end??
