Default emissions with cai and tune from brenspeed

Will my 07 gt pass the emissions test in GA with the brenspeed tune? If not, could I email brenspeed asking them to make a tune that would make my car pass the test?

no one to my knowledge has had issues passing sniffer tests using tunes from the major companies. You should be just fine.

You have to make sure your tune has your O2's set to ready. I failed my first time because of it. So i had to go back to stock for the test. You can call or email who ever you got your tunes from and they can rewrite your tune to your O2's back on. Its mainly the rear one i believe. If your O2's are on you should have no issues.

If you can go back to stock to pass it is the easiest and cheapest way. Also depends on what you have done to your car. With my cams, LTs and all the other stuff even with the O2s on and emmissions tune it was throwing codes.

By the way BAMA is a lot cheaper for tunes than Brenspeed think $50.

if u tune it back to stock, depending on ur setup u may run an angry wrench light right? and if u do doesn't that keep u from passing?

Do what I did and ask Brenspeed for an emissions friendly tune. It turns the O2 sensors on and you'll pass without issue. Otherwise you probably wont pass if they plug into the OBD port. Sniffers fine though.

When I got my Bama tune I asked that he be sure to leave the O2's on and I didn't have anytrouble with emissions

here on 95 and newer they just do an obd2 diag test if the rear 02's weren't on then I'd have failed (I don't plan to lose the cats or do Lt's so I'm fine)
