Congrats on your Whipple. In my opinion, I would strongly consider the Steeda - Whipple 10 Rib Belt Drive System. It's Sick looking and great tension without throwing/breaking belts with high HP...

Welcome to the Whipple Crew. I agree with the other guys in this thread, definitely buy the Thump_RRR tensioner instead of the Steeda. The catch can is also a very good mod to have on your list. Shows you're thinking about the right things.

if you're running the standard PSI is belt slip really that big an issue? with my kenne bell I'm just running 9psi and slip has never been an issue with the stock tensioner and 6 rib belt.
congrats on going boost, gotta have the extra power

what is the part# for the thump_rrr belt tentioner that i need. i have the 3.375 s/c pulley. what size pulley should i go with on the tentioner? i had to move the stock idler pulley and put it on my stock tensioner. whipple gave me a new size idler pulley inplace of the stock one. maybe someone can attach exactly what i need. also i would like to see some good oil separators also. thanks

An alternative to the other mentioned tensioners is the Roush. It's cast thicker and not modified but built from the ground up to be stout. I got mine from Haney Motorsports.
I upgraded it when I went to a 3.250" pulley.

I can recommend the Moroso or Stef's catch cans. I've installed both (Moroso on mine, Stef's on a friend's) and they are both quality units. As for the correct Thump_rrr tensioner, I believe you need part number PM-1002-100, but I'd email thumpracing to be sure.

Belt slip isn't the real issue with lower boost numbers. The issue is bent and broken crappy stock tensioners. If you never beat on it, it likely won't be an issue, but a few good powershifts can twist up the stock tensioner like a pretzel. Additional tension on the belt is just a bonus of buying an aftermarket tensioner.
