Default Email tune vs custom dyno tune

What are some of the differences between the two listed above. Are their any HP/TQ changes between both. Im just trying to figure out if i am doing the right thing by getting a custom dyno tune. Thanks.

with your mods in your sig, you should stick with the email tune.
its cheaper, and a dynotune may not get you a significant increase in performance.

Some guy was chatting me up at the gas station a few weeks back and told me that he had a custom tune from a Mustang shop here in St. Louis. I asked his numbers and they were lower than my Brenspeed mail order tune dyno numbers. His HP was in the high 280's.

A dyno tune can squeeze a few more RWHP than most custom tunes can. The more mods you have, the more a dyno tune can refine performance. IMO, it's not worth it unless you do serious track time and/or are FI.

I called three different places not that long ago asking about a dyno tune. Was told the same by all three, stay with an email tune until I do something more radical i.e. supercharger. I'd say stay with the email tunes.

Custom dyno tunes are always better....it's not always worth the extra expense, though.

Thanks for the responses, I was leaning towards the custom tune because my car is running like crap lately. Ever since i had my bamachips 91 race tune the car just hasnt been running well.
