I heard that the 2011 Mustang doesn't come with a spare tire and that it comes with only a tire repair kit. Do you guys know if has a proper space for a spare tire below the trunk mat?

I believe this only holds true with a particular trim of the '11, but I can't offer much more information than that. I don't think it's the case for every '11 Mustang.

there is no spare tire if you get the brembo brake kit.

however there is room in the trunk still to put a spare tire. i have choosen to use a full size 17" wheel as a spare. it is a little too large and the hatch won't close all of the way but it works perfectly fine.

That was the case with some of the '10's too, bascially you get a can of fixa flat in place of a donut spare!
