Default URGENT QUESTION ASAP

Hey guys, I'm about to purchase a used 2005 Ford Mustang in approx. two hours, and I need an answer ASAP!!!

So when the '05 Mustangs came out were they fuel injected or did they have a carburetor "stock?" This is all I need to know and thank you!

Nothing like knowing dik chit about a car within 2 hours of buying it. Surely you're aware of the water leak TSB and some of the other nasty TSB's associated with these S197's? (Expecting the "deer-in-the-headlights" stare...)

well they did have the "special" option of carburation, it made 217hp&193ftlbs tq. more, they were very rare and you never would know unless you knew what you were looking for, you need to ask the dealership service manager. he will be the only one who would know, like i said if you could get one of these. omg you would be so lucky. id trade in all my cars for just one......GOOD LUCK ON IT! and fyi there worth about 25k right now too.

Well make sure to check the build date. If you're 05 was built before March 1978, you probably have the carbureted 289 block under there
