Go back to whatever forum you usually post in then. I've owned SEVEN F-bodies, five of them LS1 cars. I had oil burning/piston slap on two, four rear ends in one of them, and a new T56 in one. They weren't touched by God, my friend. Maybe you or the car was a dud, but the '11 I'm driving would kill a stock LS1 F-body.
I can't understand your other post, so I'll refrain on commenting on that one.

Enjoy your car.

Your typing is hard to read. You need some commas or periods in there somewhere. The 2011 5.0 is faster than your camaro ever was, right out of the box. It's gone 12.7 in the 1/4 mile at 110+mph. I'm sure we will see even faster times completely stock

I owned a 99 Trans Am. Had the T-56 rebuilt (Viper specs) after synchro failures, massive sludge buildup in the engine (discovered during the cam install) and the oil was always changed before schedule. Only used top quality oils as I'm an avid BITOG forum reader. Always had to use seafoam due to the PCV direct oil injection back into the intake manifold, replaced the clutch twice, and was afraid to launch hard due to the horrors of the weak 7.5" 10 bolt rear end. Who's idea was it to put a weak S-10 rear end in a 300+ HP car anyway? The build quality of the car was sub par versus my 08 GT. Sure, the LS1 was more powerful stock vs. stock, but at least I know I have a 8.8" rear end that can handle anything I will ever through at it. My Trans Am required a complete interior removal to apply Dynamat extreme to every inch of the interior metal. It was a noisy car before that. My Mustang was just as quiet stock as my Trans Am was with Dynamat, do I need to mention all the sound deadening added 60 lbs. to my car. The air conditioning system in the Trans Am wasn't as good either (no Fbodies are vs. the S197) The power window motors ALWAYS wore out in less than 2 years. GM gave it too small motor for a window that was too heavy. The only thing I miss from my Trans Am are the T-Tops and lopey idle from the cam with the dumped exhaust. The sound I can duplicate, the T-Tops....well guess I should have bought a vert.
