1ZVBP8CF3D5264757 That's a 2013 Race Red GT/CS with Track Pack, Comfort, Bembros, 3.73 Thorson, custom heated seat logos everything but the glass roof. Ford even put a Boss radiator and oil cooler in them. Yeah it's still an appearance package. Does anyone with a Vin app now the letter that is for C/S? The only thing more they could have added was a Boss motor, who would by a Boss then?

Request denied.

Thank you for posting your VIN to prove that you are full of ****. Obviously unlike you, I actually ORDERED my car myself. You can't get a GT/CS with any of the performance stuff. I tried. So I bought a regular GT and added all the GT/CS outside stuff, and made my car unique while having the performance stuff I can have in a drop top.

1ZVBP8CF3D5264757 is a 2013 GT/CS in Race Red with Comfort Package, Nav and 3.73's.

By the way, it's a Torsen rear differential, not a Thorsen. They are Brembos not Bembros.

You also don't have everything but the glass roof.

For your particular sub model, you're also missing the top level radio, the Shaker Pro.

Options Unavailable on the California Special: Track Pack, Brembo Brake Package, Rear sensors/Security system, and Premier Interior/color matched trim, Recaro seats.

:-)

In fact your car looks like it was dealer stock/allocation, as the car doesn't have any special order/tagging attached to it, and it was built on 10/18/12. By the way, your stock GT/CS wheels won't even clear Brembo brakes.

It's just a troll who has no idea what he's talking about and reviving almost three year old threads. Don't feed the troll!

Id would say no, it is a regular production vehicle with special options. Also collectors car insurance does not mean anything. I have collectors car insurance on my 07 GT, $300.00 per year. Car cannot be used for daily use or commutes to get collector rates.

Default Clown Stripes

19" rims do fit over "14" bembros" and I was shocked to see the Vin results had very little listed. I'll just have to post my window sticker for you all.

I know Diva wont sleep until I'm brought to justice.

O.K. Mom - just a little more time! P L E A S E. All right I'm going to bed.

Feeling like Norman Bates right about now, gotta get up a 0200 and drive this 18 wheeler. But remember buckaroos - Friends don't let Friends drive Grabber Blue Convertibles with Clown stripes.

Certain 18's and 19's will clear the Brembo calipers, but not your GT/CS wheels. I guess it was to hard for you to simply look at your car and see the base brakes.

I know what my car has and doesn't have, unfortunately you can't say the same.

You can't really go by VINs. A GT/CS is a GT with an additional appearance package.

If it were me, I'd separate them like so:

General
  • Non-V8 Mustangs
  • V8 Mustangs
First Generation
  • 1966-1972
Second Generation
  • 1973-1978
Third Generation
  • Fox Body
  • Fox Body V8
  • Fox Body Special
Fourth Generation
  • S95
  • S95 V8
  • S95 Special (anything not just a GT or V6)
  • New Edge
  • New Edge V8
  • New Edge Special (anything not just a GT or V6)
Fifth Generation
  • S197 V6
  • S197 V8
  • S197 Special (Anything not a GT/V6/Shelby)
  • S197 Shelby (including GTS, GT350 and GT500)

Assuming you have a minimum limit on the number of cars in a class, the way it works is that a car is registered into the most appropriate classes. When the day of the show arrives, you can determine if a given class has enough cars to be viable. If you have a class where the number of entries falls below your arbitrarily set minimum number, you can give the entry owner a choice between being rolled into the next higher or lower class within the same body style, or being put into the general mustang classes at the top of the list.

For example, if you got just one or two V6 S197s, they would be given a choice to either be rolled up into the S197 V8 class, or be placed into the "Non-V8 Mustangs" class. If you got just one or two S197 Shelbys, they would be given the choice to be made to roll down into the S197 Special class (no choice would be offered because a Shelby in a general V8 Mustang class would be unfair).

Regarding the GT/CS, the owner should be given the choice to enter either the "S197 GT" class, or the "S197 Special" class, knowing full well that the Special class will include Roush, Saleen, and other "special build" cars, which he GT/CS is not.

That's the way I see, but I'm old and half insane.

Wow - never mind, the thread is three years old.
