GT CS a specialty Mustang?
we are putting together an all Mustang car show at a local dealership which sponsors our Mustang club.
and we would like to expand our classes of awards so we can give out more trophies.
and we are looking to add a specialty class to separate the SVT, Roush, Shelby, Saleen, etc.
so heres the question:
are the GT CS a specialty Mustang? do they have a special VIN #?
i know that they are basically a GT with a chin spoiler and rear diffuser, side scoops and decals.
do you think that the CS should be included in the specialty class?

No I don't think they should. Sorry not to make the CS guys mad.
To me that's like asking the v6 guys if a pony package should be a special edition.

I don't think they should get their own, separate class. If you combined Shelby's, Roush's, Saleens, Bullitts, Machs and GT/CS all into a specialty class, I don't see a problem in that

thats tough. they are basically a GT with a special package. but they are also more special then a GT. i would say no to the special group.

I hope the GT/CS guys don't get mad but NO. Its just an apperarance package really, not even close to being in the same class as a Saleen, Roush, etc.

Nope. Not saying they aren't nice but it's just another appearance package and we already have enough marketing variations muddying the water.
