Drag strip-traction control on or off ?

The only time I drive with TC on is when I forget to shut it off.
Even in the rain (or worse) it's better to find out how little grip there is by how easy it is to spin the tires. Use that knowledge to 'reset' the way that you're going to drive that day. Even with TC on, you can get the tail loose in a corner by adding too much throttle too soon . . .
The alternative is finding out that tire grip sucks is when the car won't stop or steer very well. ABS and stability control will not save you in every situation that you might run across.

If you turn it off i dont think youll have problems hooking on the track. and like people said before it cuts power when its on a detects a slip. i would guess most people wouldnt know this because when they go to the strip they are in there car but i also run my bike and the track is crazy sticky. when you put your foot down its like stepping on glue lol. I didnt know this until i stepped on it lol. but you should run faster times with it off.

It snowed one day and i tested out the TC by dropping the clutch and flooring it in first and i was extremal impressed. Slight skip of the tires then a slow smooth accel.
Good for snow, not drag racing
