3.73 gears or 4.10???

The question isn't as clear cut as you think, it depends on your needs.
What do you need more from your car? Are you into the 1/4 mile yawn-fest? road course stuff? - there really isn't much point in doing it if you never race it, the advantages you get on the odd traffic light grand prix starts are outweighed by the poor gas mileage and increased wear cycles on everyday driving.
1/4 mile dragging then Yes, go with 4,10's.
Road course? hard to say, 4.10's are often too short for road course work depending on length/topology, usually 3.73 or 3.55 are plenty good enough. With 4.10's on a road course you are simply making more work for yourself with more shifts per lap at best and often you end up needing to grab 5th gear on long straights which puts you into overdrive, not good..

Dont let people talk to you about poor gas mileage. If u have a mustang and its a v8 then your concern really isnt about gas mileage. I have 410's and I only lost about 1 mpg. So really its not enough to even talk about. Dont fear the gear.
