Way too much! Offer$12,00 at the most!

And you're trading in?

Sell your car private party and then buy private party.
Lol, he´s in Mass. and you´re in CA. If he offers 12, they´ll laugh in his face

You guys are nutz. If you can't get an '05 GT for under $14k there's something wrong with the haggle center of your brain. I paid a Ford dealer $13.5k for an '06 V6 Pony with all the upgrades in absolute mint condition and only 9,600 miles 1 1/2 years ago.

congrats on the car...That seems a bit high but like everyone has said it sometimes depends on your location.

Yes, it was a dealer. But I had to have the Windvail Blue and wanted a 2005 so I know I did not get a great price. Unless I believe the dealer who claims he made only $150.00 .......

FWIW, I bought my 06GT Deluxe this January. It´s manual, black leather, upgraded interior package, shaker 1000, was 14,8xx miles, dealer car, came with the 100k drivetrain warranty. Pretty much fully loaded. It was 19,240, about 19.5k after fees.

I´m happy
