how much trade in value you get for yours? and how much did you pay for your GT?

i was debating trading in my V6 for a GT, but instead i bought a project 1970 challenger, as seen in my avatar.

I can tell by looking at your car you've put a ton of coin into it so any deal to be made is going to be different. I paid $10,600 for mine 2½ years ago. As hard as it was to refrain from modding the crap out of mine, I withheld. I put wheels, springs, smoked turn signals, and lower grill fillers ALL of which the dealer let me take off the 6 and move to the GT myself. Meaning they let me take BOTH cars home and do the work myself to prevent scratches. I left the lowering springs on the V6 because I believe they were too soft for the weight difference of the V8, so they stayed on the Windveil Blue 6.

At trade time they gave me $10,000 for mine and I gave them $5k more for the GT. I only did this deal because a motor swap with all the trimmings could have been easily equilavent to the difference I paid by just buying the GT turn key, besides the amenities on the GT ALONE were worth the $5k difference from my 6'er. The Charcoal leather interior is a real eye pleaser IMO.

Good deal?
